City's Under-18s Beat Stoke In The Cup
After a 4-1 loss to league leaders Tottenham Hotspur in the U18 Premier League, the young Foxes moved on to cup duty, with fixtures against Stoke City and Brighton & Hove Albion, as they look to progress from Group A to reach the knockout stages of the tournament.
They arrived at Clayton Wood Training Ground in Staffordshire on Friday afternoon to take on the Potters, and goals from Kirsten Otchere, Jayden Joseph, Mirsad Ali and Toby Ononaye ensured a comfortable victory and three group stage points for Leicester.
It took half-an-hour for the deadlock to be broken by Otchere, but the Foxes took a two-goal lead into the break after Joseph doubled their advantage just before the whistle.
Once again the second half started quite evenly, but after Leicester found the net, they quickly found another, as Otchere turned provider to assist Ali before Ononaye completed the scoring two minutes later with less than 15 to go on the clock.
With two wins from two, and top of Group A with a maximum six points, the Foxes head back home to LCFC Training Ground on Saturday 25 November when they welcome Brighton for a 11am GMT kick-off.
