This Sunday offers a shot at making history for Leicester, knowing that a win against Spurs will place them in next month's final at Wembley, to face either Chelsea or Manchester United.

Ahead of one of the biggest matches in the Club's history of the women's game, here is a detailed look into both sides, what happened last time out and how you can follow the events in London...

Jutta Rantala scored both goals in City's quarter-final win over Liverpool.

The Foxes return from the international break focused on the cup challenge at hand. The team rejoin at Belvoir Drive, having had many individuals represent their countries all over the globe, in which Sophie Howard and Jutta Rantala found the net in UEFA Women's EURO Qualifiers.

Last time out, City were held to a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa at Poundland Bescot Stadium, when Rachel Daly rescued a point for the hosts after goals from Yuka Momiki and Sam Tierney either side of the break.

While Leicester look to finish the season strongly and build on their highest points tally recorded in the Barclays Women's Super League, a dream day at Wembley is in the offering for whoever comes out on top this Sunday afternoon, and the Foxes will be aiming to add one more game to their 2023/24 schedule.

Spurs stand in the way of Leicester and glory as they look to make history themselves, as this is also their first time of reaching the Women's FA Cup Semi-Final, but they of course have the advantage of a home draw.

Confirmed to take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Lilywhites head into the weekend on good form, with three wins from their last three which most recently saw them beat newly-promoted Bristol City on their travels.

Martha Thomas is their top goalscorer with seven, and a further two assists to her name this term, but you can never rule out former Lioness Beth England from making a difference on the big stage.

Robert Vilahamn has won 50 per cent of his matches in charge of Spurs.

Robert Vilahamn resides in the dugout and is currently enjoying his first season in charge of Spurs, having joined the club in July of last year from coaching BK Häcken in his homeland of Sweden.

The 41-year-old has won 12 games out of his 24 at the helm, leading Tottenham to a respectful sixth-place in the WSL; currently five points ahead of Villa with a game in hand.

The Foxes were beaten 1-0 in the last meeting between the two sides.

The Foxes will be looking for redemption over Spurs, most recently coming together last month when an early goal from Matilda Vinberg was enough to settle the scores at Brisbane Road and further Tottenham's cause to a top-half finish in the standings.

Leicester have tasted victory just once in seven meetings between the two sides, but that win came in the FA Cup two years ago; Howard and Esmee De Graaf scoring extra-time goals in Barnet.
