Confidence Growing For Ulloa

Summer signing Leonardo Ulloa has insisted he can be a success in the Barclays Premier League as he prepares for life in England’s top flight.
The Argentine striker fired in from close range in City’s 2-2 draw with Everton at King Power Stadium on Saturday.

And Ulloa, who bagged 14 league goals for Brighton last season, praised the talent of his team mates after the draw against Roberto Martinez’s men.

Ulloa said: “It's more confidence for me, this goal. I enjoy the Premier League because this is new for me.

“It is important for us and the strikers because it is more confidence for us. For me, it is important but it is also very important for the team.

“It is different because there is more intensity than the Championship, but this team have quality and really good players.

“I want wins but I think the team played really well for the first game.”

And the former Almeria frontman assured supporters that although he may not score every game; his work rate will not drop, thanking the fans for their support after having only been at the Club for such a short time.

Ulloa continued: “I came here to play. I want to play, I want to help. Sometimes I can score goals, sometimes not, but I want to work all the time.

“I don't worry because we have a good team - I enjoy it all the time, in training, during play, and for the team.

“I want to say thank you to the fans because I am really happy here.”
