New Year Sees Launch Of New LCFC Satellite Centres

Building on the overwhelming success of last summer’s Satellite Centres, the 2015 project gives young grass roots players aged 7-11 the chance to take advantage of some expert LCFC coaching sessions.
Plenty of talented youngsters impressed the City coaches across all the centres in 2014 – something that eventually led to 13 players heading to Leicester City’s Belvoir Drive Training Facility.
That chance to join the LCFC Player Pathway could now be yours – simply find your nearest Satellite Centre and take part. Prices are just £35 for 10 sessions.
Senior Football Development Officer Matt Willcock said: “The centres have been very popular and the reaction from the children has been fantastic.
“The centres are great in giving children the chance of progressing on the Leicester City Player Pathway.
“Over October last year we were delighted to see 13 children from the centres have a trial at Leicester City’s training ground, which is hopefully the start of many more children being given this exciting opportunity.”
