Leicester City’s Development Squad will play their Premier League International Cup Semi-Final clash with Manchester City on Thursday at the Academy Stadium in Manchester (7pm kick-off).
Steve Beaglehole’s outfit stormed through the group stages of the competition with wins against Schalke, Benfica and now last-four opponents Man City.
A tough quarter-final tie with Everton at Belvoir Drive then followed. The game finished 2-2 after extra time, but two crucial spot-kick saves from goalkeeper Adam Smith meant the Foxes emerged as 4-3 victors on penalties.
The Citizens, meanwhile, advanced from Group C as runners-up behind City and beat Celtic on penalties in the quarter-final following a goalless draw after 120 minutes.
The winners of the tie will face Portuguese outfit Porto in the final.
