Ulloa Calls For Focus

Now 18 points better off and having only lost to recently-crowned Premier League Champions Chelsea in that space of time, Ulloa believes Saturday’s game against Dick Advocaat’s men has added importance. 

The Argentine frontman said: “It is a very important game for us but Sunderland have a good opportunity in this game because they are more confident now. They have done well as well. They win some games but it is more important for us. 

“We just focus on this game and afterwards we look at the other results. But it is an important game and if we win it is great for us.” 

Leicester head into that clash on the back of a 2-0 win over Ronald Koeman’s Southampton, who have continued to push for European qualification after an impressive 2014/15 campaign. 

Reflecting on that result, Ulloa added: “Yes we are on a good run but I don’t think about this, I think about this game and it is a very important result for us. 

“I think it is very important that we started quickly and scored early because after that we can play better. We can relax and play with less pressure. 

“I think the team has done that in the last seven games and we have played well. We need the same intensity at Sunderland. It will be a very difficult game for us we can go there with lots of confidence.”
