- Leicester City manager Claude Puel calls for ambition against Premier League champions Chelsea
- The two sides meet at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon (3pm kick-off)
- Puel expects the Blues to be a tough opponent for his Foxes outfit in the capital city
- However, City's performances in recent weeks give the Frenchman confidence of a positive result

The Foxes began 2018 with a 3-0 success over Huddersfield Town at King Power Stadium on New Year’s Day, meaning they go into this weekend’s visit to London in a confident mood.

However, Puel has stressed the importance of focus against a side who have suffered just four Premier League defeats under Antonio Conte this season.

“We know Chelsea are the champions,” he told the national media on Thursday. “They are at home and they have a lot of solutions to play with a number of players and with quality.

“But we can cause them problems and we have great players also and quality in our squad.

Puel Looks Ahead To Chelsea

Leicester City manager Claude Puel addresses the media as preparations for Chelsea continue.

“We have a fantastic attitude all the time in training and on the pitch. We will see. We will play with ambition against Chelsea.”

Having defeated Tottenham Hotspur and drawn with Manchester United already this term, Puel knows his side have the ability to upset sides towards the Premier League's summit.

“In games against great teams, we have always had good solutions,” he added. “We try to score but also to continue to play after scoring and keep a good ambition in our play.

“We must play with a good ambition and good play at the front. It will be a good challenge for us to try and play for a result.”

While Puel rested several figures from his squad during last Saturday's 0-0 stalemate at Fleetwood in the Emirates FA Cup, he doesn't think it will make a great difference in London.

"I think it’s not an advantage," he continued. "We can see their squad. They have two or three players for any position. It is possible for them to play every two or three days.

"It’s a good team with good players. They can play with 11 players if they want every three days. It’s not a problem for them."
