City Workload Increases In Évian
- Leicester City enjoyed a first full day of pre-season training in Évian-les-Bains
- The Foxes completed sessions in the morning and afternoon, as well as a bike ride before breakfast
- City are set for four more days of training in France
An hour-long bike ride through the mountain roads kicked things off on City’s first full day in France, where they will spend the next week readying themselves for the rigours of the Premier League.
A little later in the morning, refuelled from breakfast, the Foxes squad cycled to their training base to undergo a series of fitness tests.
Early Start In Evian
Claude Puel’s men head out for an early bike ride as they begin their week long training camp in Evian.
After a lunch break and some downtime, the Club’s stars then headed back out in the early evening for a session which consisted predominantly of ball work.
Speaking LCFC TV, defender Danny Simpson said: “We had a bike ride this morning early doors and we had a good blast of fitness work then. Everyone is doing well to be honest.
Vicente Iborra, Christian Fuchs and Leo Ulloa
Left back Christian Fuchs interrupted Vicente Iborra and Leo Ulloa's ice bath on the first day of training.
“It obviously makes it [harder] and we’re not used to this much heat and this much sun, so it does make it a little more difficult.
“Regardless of that, I think it’s just difficult anyway and that’s the whole point of why we’re here this week.”
More hard work will follow on Tuesday, so stay tuned to LCFC.com for updates from Évian.
