A Tough Week, Says Morgan
- Wes Morgan believes Leicester City have had a productive week on Évian-les-Bains

- Morgan spoke highly of the group of youngsters that also trained in France
The skipper and his team-mates have worked tirelessly in Évian-les-Bains to ensure they are in their best physical state.
Sessions on the training field and in the gym, as well as a 12-kilometre bike ride, has seen City give their all as the new campaign fast approaches.
“It’s been a tough pre-season,” Morgan told LCFC TV. “We’ve gone somewhere different, we’ve not been here before.
“There’s a lot of mountains, a lot of greenery and a lot of work we’ve had to deal with. We’ve trained three, sometimes four times a day.
“The purpose of it is to get you fit and get you ready for the upcoming games. We’ve had a solid two weeks of pure physical and fitness and now we’ll go into next week with games ahead of us.
“Hopefully we can then start focusing on the more tactical and football side of things and focusing on getting ready. We’re looking forward to the start of the season."
The Club’s stars were joined by several members of the Development Squad – all of them impressing the captain both on and off the pitch.
He added: “They’ve done great. It’s always tough. I remember when I had to do it. You want to try and impress, you want to try and be first in the running and you want to be first down for dinner.
“You just want to make a good impression. The boys have been great. They’ve stood out, held their own and contributed well to the team.”
