City Complete Preparations For Udinese

Leicester City’s stars took to the training pitches for the final time in Austria on Friday as they fought through the heat of the Carinthia sunshine to keep their pre-season preparations on track.

- Friday saw Leicester City conclude their preparations for Saturday’s clash with Udinese
- The game will be shown live on LCFC TV in the UK and Thailand
- City fly back to England on Saturday afternoon following the fixture in Klagenfurt

With most of City’s international contingent now back among the group, an ultra-competitive series of training sessions led by manager Claude Puel, Jacques Bonnevay, Mike Stowell and Adam Sadler saw the players once again ramp up the intensity.

In a region of Austria known for its natural beauty, with stunning lakes and spectacular mountains, the Foxes have enjoyed a welcome as warm as the sunshine from locals, who have keenly followed every training session.

Maddison Pleased With Intensity

Summer signing James Maddison talks to LCFC TV on his side's pre-season training camp in Austria....

Ex-Austria national team captain Christian Fuchs has been the object of much of their attention throughout the week in his homeland. The defender took time out after training on Friday to speak to a selection of Austrian media about his pre-season preparations with the Foxes – going into what will be his fourth campaign as a Leicester City player.

As always, the LCFC TV cameras were on hand to capture every moment too. As well as a highly competitive game of head tennis involved City’s goalkeepers (including wild celebrations for the victors), new boy James Maddison talked about his progress in a blue shirt and Kelechi Iheanacho gave his first interview since the World Cup in Russia.

Even though training in Austria may be over, the Foxes aren’t heading for home just yet – and neither are LCFC TV. There’s one more game to play for Claude Puel and his team on Saturday afternoon.

They take on Italian Serie A side Udinese in Klagenfurt and for Foxes fans in the UK and Thailand, every kick will be shown live on LCFC TV, as will remaining pre-season games against Valencia and Lille.
