The Foxes will host the tie in the week commencing 29 October after Tuesday night’s shoot-out win against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Danny Ward proved to be City’s hero at Molineux Stadium, saving three penalties following a goalless draw in 90 minutes.
City discovered that it will be Southampton - and not Everton - in the fourth round on Tuesday night, with Mark Hughes' men winning out on penalties at Goodison Park this week.
