City's cup campaign continued at LCFC Training Ground as they welcomed Brighton for their third Group A game, Heading into the fixture with two wins from two against Sunderland and Stoke City.

In a six-goal thriller including two own goals and a penalty, Leicester took a point to remain unbeaten in the group stage, and lead the pack with a total of seven points.

The hosts took the lead when Jacob Vickers scored in his own net 25 minutes in, but Brighton soon had the lead in Seagrave after goals from Sahil Bashir and Joe Belmont in the space of 60 seconds before the half-an-hour mark.

Things were levelled up just before the break when Yassine Toure was assisted by Kirsten Otchere in the third additional minute at the end of the first half, before retaking the lead moments from the restart thanks to a Zane Albarus own goal.

Moments away from claiming their third consecutive victory in the competition, the Seagulls stole a point late on when Layth Gulzar converted his penalty kick in the 95th minute.

Leicester now return to U18 Premier League action, where they currently sit eighth with 12 points, when they face West Ham United at Little Heath Sports Ground on Saturday 2 December (12pm GMT kick-off).
