Finish Well, Says Silva

The Foxes travel to the capital on Sunday in the hope of building on their excellent 3-1 victory over Arsenal earlier this week.

For Silva, with a potential World Cup campaign with Portugal on the horizon, it will be important to conclude the season with a positive result.

“It’s another tough game against a great team with a great coach who has done a fantastic job,” the midfielder told LCFC TV.

“We want to finish the last game very well with a good performance, and we’ll see what happens.

“Wembley is a great stadium. I’ve had the opportunity to play there, and it’s always special to play there.

“It’s such a great stadium so we will see. Hopefully, we will get there and we’ll do the best we can and we’ll get the result.”

Silva made his 15th appearance for the Club after completing 90 minutes against the Gunners earlier this week.

Reflecting on the triumph, Silva added: “It was very important for us, for our pride and for the fans to get this victory and to finish at our stadium with a victory, and a good one as well. We did very well through the game so we are very happy to finish at home with this victory.

“The last few games, we were playing against teams who were fighting to stay in the Premier League and this made the games very, very difficult.

“Not only because they played well, but the intensity they played with and they gave everything, every player.

“Sometimes, it doesn’t go the way you want. Unfortunately, for us, the last few games weren’t good but we reacted very well against a great team.”
