City's Hong Kong Citi Soccer Sevens Fixtures Finalised

- Singapore Cricket Club will be Leicester City's first opponents at the Hong Kong Citi Soccer Sevens
- The Foxes will also face HKFA Red Dragons and Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday
- Under the guidance of Ben Petty, City lifted the Main Cup crown in Hong Kong last summer
- Darnell Johnson will captain Leicester's 10-man squad this time around

The Foxes, who lifted the Main Cup in Causeway Bay last May, will tackle the Singaporeans at 3:40pm Hong Kong Time (HKT) in their opening match of the seven-a-side contest this Saturday.

As part of a frantic first day of competition, Ben Petty’s youthful City squad will also face HKFA Red Dragons at 5:22pm and Brighton & Hove Albion at 7:04pm, both kick-offs in HKT.

Leicester fly out from London on Tuesday evening, arriving in Asia the following afternoon, before undergoing their first of two training sessions at Hong Kong Football Club on Thursday morning.

Following the conclusion of Day 1, Sunday's fixtures will then be confirmed, with the Foxes hoping to be a part of the Main Cup knockout phase for the second successive season.

On Monday, Petty’s 10-man squad for the tournament was confirmed, with young defender Darnell Johnson being named as City’s captain.
